Hi! I am a junior studying Psychology and Writing & Rhetoric. I’m from Los Angeles, California (the 818!) and have been on the air since my freshman spring. I am live on the air on Mondays from 6-7pm, and Fridays from 11-12pm! My music taste is kind of expansive, but my current favorites are Maisie Peters, Del Water Gap, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Kendrick Lamar! I love WHWS because it’s a different way of expressing myself, and I love the sound of my own voice. I think college radio is super important, not only for the media, but also confidence in students. I’m happy to be a part of the WHWS team!

Hello! I am a junior currently working towards a double major in Politics and Media & Society. I’m from Los Angeles, CA and I have been involved with WHWS since my first semester on campus! I am live on the air on Tuesdays at 3PM and Fridays at 1PM. I like to listen to many different genres but my favorites right now have to be Magdalena Bay or Kendrick Lamar. I love working at the radio station because it gives me a place to express myself through my interests and allows me to relax with my friends. I’m hopeful that I can bring the energy needed to build up WHWS as a community for people that love music. FM radio may be declining but I know that WHWS is alive.
