The 2nd annual Barktoberfest 5k was held Sunday, October 5th to raise money for the Geneva Bark Park. If you missed WHWS’s live broadcast from Downtown Geneva, we have some pictures of the event!

In addition to the races and costume contest, animal shelters from neighboring towns came with some of their adoptable pets. HWS student volunteers ran the 5k with these dogs.
Kayla Jones ’17 with Oreo, a blind dog from the Yates County Humane Society.
And Baby, and adopted dog from the Beverly Animal Shelter.
Ethan Mattos ’17 with Sapphire, an adoptable dog from the Beverly Animal Shelter that was able to run the race with an HWS student volunteer.

In attendance was Cara Morgan, a participant on The Voice, and her dog Izzy.
