Busy week coming for WHWS in our live coverage of Hobart Statesmen and William Smith Herons sports!  Here’s the rundown…

  • Wednesday 7:00pm HOB Ice Hockey vs Manhattanville (WHWS)
    • ECAC 1st round playoffs!
  • Friday 6:00pm WS Basketball #2 vs Union #3 (WHWS)
    • Liberty League semifinal, at St Lawrence University in Canton, NY – thanks to St Lawrence for providing us with live game coverage!
  • Friday 8:00pm HOB Basketball #1 vs Hamilton #4 (WHWS)
    • Liberty League semifinal, at Hobart!
  • Saturday 12noon HOB Lacrosse (1-0) at Cornell University (0-0) (WEOS)
    • Oldest lacrosse rivalry in the country for Cornell’s home opener!
  • Saturday 3:00pm Liberty League championship broadcast!
    • WS Basketball vs Vassar #4 or St. Lawrence #1 (WHWS) at St Lawrence University in Canton, NY – thanks to St Lawrence for providing us with live game coverage!
  • Saturday 7:00pm HOB Ice Hockey at Elmira (WHWS)
    • ECAC playoffs semifinals!

Note: Due to sportscaster illness, scheduling conflicts, and a nasty winter storm moving into the region, WHWS will not be sending a broadcast team to St Lawrence University in Canton for the Liberty League women’s basketball semifinals and championship games this weekend.  Fortunately, SLU has agreed to allow WHWS to broadcast the audio play-by-play from their video webcast feed.  Many thanks to SLU!!!
